The Monse A/W 2024 Collection and Oribe Principal Artist of Global Design, Kien Hoang made the perfect team to create this vision.
The Monse Autumn/Winter 2024 Collection drew inspiration from an extraterrestrial UFO landing on a cold winter day. Oribe Principal Artist of Global Design, Kien Hoang, was up to the challenge. He used Oribe Hair Care product to achieve this vision, designing windswept and undone look as if they just witnessed alien-like magic.
A Wind Swept Look with Oribe Hair Care
- First, begin with a natural center part. Prep the hair with Invisible Defense Universal Protection Spray to shield hair from thermal damage and impart gentle moisture.
- Next, generously spray in Maximista Thickening Spray section by section. Use hands to rake through.
- To begin shaping the look, leave about a quarter inch of hair out around the hairline. Then tuck one side of hair behind the ear.
- Dry the hair using a diffuser. Hug the head with the tool until the hair is completely dry.
- Using Superfine Strong Hair Spray, set the dried look while sweeping the hair left out around the hairline across the face.
Tips for Textured Hair
- Prep the hair with Priming Lotion Leave-In Conditioning Detangler to detangle and prevent breakage.
- Using your hands, begin finger coiling the hair around the entire head to prep curls for heat.
- Next, use a diffuser to set the look and expand the shape of the hair.
- Set the look using Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray to hold in place.
