The main stage at CosmoExpoBeauty Barcelona was set for a grand occasion on March 30, hosting one of the most anticipated shows of the season: La Femme by Dousse.
Conceived as a tribute to the elegance and versatility of the contemporary woman, La Femme by Dousse stood out at CosmoExpoBeauty Barcelona for its refined aesthetic and bold use of color. An audience filled with industry professionals and students experienced a live showcase of creativity, technical excellence, and cutting-edge artistry that left no one indifferent.
The presentation also paid tribute to Madrid, the city that inspired the collection and is emerging as one of Europe’s major fashion capitals. For this, Dousse collaborated with designer Juan Carlos Mesa, creative director of Maison Mesa, renowned for his groundbreaking approach and artistic sensibility. The fusion of fashion and hairdressing was one of the show’s greatest successes, clearly demonstrating how both disciplines enrich one another within the context of contemporary creation.

Cutting-Edge Techniques and Pure Color
The Dousse artistic team —composed of Juan Luis Soria, Irene Osuna, Tomás Fuertes, David Fuertes, and Mónica Bueno— delivered a striking performance, where each look was crafted with millimetric precision and a strong visual impact. The collection stood out for its technical mastery and its exploration of color, using Dousse Colour Professional products by Tassel to achieve sophisticated, multidimensional effects.

The team shared the stage with the renowned Academia Premium by Lídia Casanova from Badalona, which presented its vibrant collection Delicious, a fresh and magnetic interpretation of the Spring-Summer 2025 trends.
This dialogue between creative proposals allowed attendees to enjoy a diverse showcase of both emerging and established talent within the Spanish hairdressing industry.

Hosted by industry journalist Sergi Bancells alongside Carles Gual, Commercial Manager at Industrias Oriol, the event brought together professionals and students from across Spain, who praised both the technical quality of the show and its emotional and aesthetic impact. With a production polished down to the smallest detail and an immersive staging, La Femme was consolidated as one of the most memorable moments of this edition of CosmoExpoBeauty.
During the event, Miquel Oriol, head of Industrias Oriol, took to the stage to share the company’s latest international successes, reinforcing its role as a benchmark in the professional hairdressing sector. In addition, Juan Luis Soria received a heartfelt tribute celebrating the tenth anniversary of Captain Cook, the brand he co-founded and has established as a leading name in the barbering world.

Dousse Colour Takes Center Stage

The result is intense, long-lasting, uniform, and radiant color, offering 100% grey coverage and up to 3 levels of lift. Its color chart includes 108 high-quality, high-technology, and highly pigmented shades, allowing for outstanding and professional color results — available both with and without ammonia!
