The Emmy’s landed this year right after Lea Michele’s recent launch of her latest album, Places, and gave even more to talk about with her gorgeous hair look at the Emmys – learn HOW TO get the look!
With the most glamorous night of TV, she had no other choice to shine, which is why she needed celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa’s agile hands to work on her hair. They settled on a middle part with sculpted soft waves and here are the steps to Lea’s stunning look:
Step 1: Start by creating a clean center part and apply Aveda’s Phomollient™ Styling Foam to the roots and Damage Remedy™ Daily Hair Repair to the ends. Loosely blow dry until the hair is 80% dry and then polish the ends with a brush.
Step 2: Section the hair with the Darby Clip, starting at the bottom working your way up. Curl 2″ sections of your hair with the Beachwaver Pro 1.25”.
Step 3: Polish the front sections with the Coast Pro styling iron and smooth with Aveda’s Brilliant™ Anti-Humectant Pomade. Then take the front from the left and the right and pull it into a hidden ponytail to secure the front down.
Step 4: To create gorgeous, polished waves, spray Aveda’s Air Control™ Light Hold Hair Spray directly onto your brush and brush all of the waves together.
