SUNLIGHTS Balayage, the education-based, everything-balayage company founded by celebrity stylist and balayage guru, Candy Shaw, will compete live on-stage before an estimated 1,000 beauty professionals in this year’s Beauty Pitch competition – the ‘Shark Tank of the Professional Beauty Industry’
Beauty Pitch 2016 will take place on Saturday, 23 July, at 8:00PM at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas as the opening event for Cosmoprof North America 2016. The event will benefit several charities.
SUNLIGHTS, the ONLY hair care company in the competition, and the youngest company in the event, is one of three finalists in the ‘start up’ category. The contestants are vying for national media exposure and the attention of the several investment firms hosting the event.
This is the second year ‘Beauty Pitch’ will be held at Cosmoprof. Last year’s competition was presided over by real ‘Shark Tank’ judges Mark Cuban and John Paul DeJoria, Paul Mitchell’s co-founder. This year DeJoria will be joined by Kevin Harrington, founder of ‘As Seen On TV.’ ‘Shark Tank’ is an American reality TV show where aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of wealthy investors.
SUNLIGHTS was selected as a finalist in part due to its phenomenal growth.
