On March 23rd, the heart of New York City pulsed with artistic energy as the Hairbrained Video Awards 2025 (HBAs) took center stage at the stylish Rumi Event Space.
The Hairbrained Video Awards 2025 brought together hundreds of top-tier professionals from the global craft hairdressing community to celebrate innovation, creativity, and technical excellence in hair artistry. Now a staple on the creative calendar, the HBAs have become a beacon for stylists who not only master their craft but also excel at translating it into compelling visual content. This year’s competition was fierce, with entries showcasing outstanding originality and storytelling across all categories.

The day kicked off with Hb Sessions, the second stop in Hairbrained’s immersive education series. These one-day events are designed to spark creativity, build community, and share practical, high-level education with working professionals. The energy generated during Sessions flowed seamlessly into the evening’s awards celebration, creating a full-circle experience of learning, connection, and recognition.
