Jenna Ortega’s Beetlejuice red carpet look

Jenna Ortega is channeling the zeitgeist of the first Beetlejuice cast on the red carpet for the highly anticipated sequel.

It’s as if Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday is all grown up and oozing dark feminine energy on the red carpet in a customized dress by Harris Reed. The dress featured a teal bodice with an exaggerated crumb-catcher neckline and amplified peplums at the waist. The teal hue was complemented by a contrasting shade of charcoal black on the dress, and the opera gloves Jenna wore as part of her accessories. To top thinks off, she also carried a purse modeled after the house featured in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and the 1988 original film. The purse was designed by French brand Ozias.

Stylist Bobby Eliot drew inspiration for the London premiere focusing on sleek and retro yet modern lines. “Given Jenna’s minimalist Harris Reed gown, we did a small detail to honor and pay homage to Catherine O’hara’s iconic hair in the original Beetlejuice,” said Eliot.

Here’s the how-to

1.        I started off using Fenty Hair The Protective Type Protectant Styler.

2.        Next, I blow dried Jenna’s hair sleek and straight, to emphasize shine.

3.        Then, I added The Hair Shop Skinny Clip-Ins for added volume.

4.        Next, I flat ironed Jenna’s hair for a sleek and straight look, blending the extensions in seamlessly.

5.        Finally, as a nod to Catherine O’hara’s iconic hair from the original movie, I detailed a swirl slick to the side of the face.
