It’s proving to be an incredible year of success for TONI&GUY at the International Hair Awards 2024, with 4 amazing wins!
TONI&GUY Global Creative Director and current British Hairdresser of the Year Cos Sakkas won International Hairdresser of the Year. Meanwhile, Efi Davies won International Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year with her HandMade collection and Sam Elliott won International Men’s Hairdresser of the Year with images from his Boys Don’t Cry collection. TONI&GUY also picked up the International Artistic Team of the Year
3rd Consecutive Win
Presented by International Hairdressing Awards Founder Mikel Luzea and Global Ambassador Sergi Bancells as he was working in Cyprus, Cos won the biggest award of all for the third consecutive year. He is the first hairdresser to clinch the title three times. He adds this award to his current British Hairdresser of the Year title, which he won for the second time in November 2023.

I am speechless and I am so happy to win this award again,” commented Cos. “This award isn’t just for me but for my family, my team photographer Jack Eames, Lan Nguyen-Grealis on make-up and styling by Borna Prikaski, and the whole TONI&GUY global team. My Luminescent collection focuses on hair and hair textures, keeping everything simple is my style with femininity through the shapes, but at the same time adding those little twists that make it interesting. It’s all the little ingredients that make it exciting.”
Worldwide Tour
The winners have been revealed on a worldwide tour, where Mikel and Sergi have visited salons and hairdressers to present the awards from LA to London, as well as Sydney. Cos and the winners will now attend a glittering event in Lisbon on 29 April where he will walk the purple carpet as well as enjoy a catwalk presentation and dinner and pick up the Purple Lady trophy.
