2020-2024 ELECTIONS
According to OMC elections rules, OMC sent the nomination candidacy proxy forms to all OMC affiliated member country Presidents. For the OMC Zone Vice-President positions, the proxy was voted by each of the concerned zone official delegates. For the OMC World President position, the proxy was voted by all OMC member countries official delegates. Announcement of the elected positions was made by electronic mail by the OMC World President.
“Great leaders always prepare a succession plan for the continuation of their organization. OMC received only one new candidate for the OMC World President position, that being my son Gianni Fodera. For this reason, I have taken the bold initiative of stepping down from my position as OMC World President, of the not-for-profit French organization. Gianni being the only candidate automatically is the newly elected OMC World President,” announced Salvatore Fodera. “Gianni Fodera is the perfect person to follow my footsteps to guarantee a long-term continuity for OMC. I am positive that the entire membership will join me in congratulating Gianni Fodera in his newly elected position as the OMC World President.“
“As to myself having built the two entities to where there are today, on behalf of the OMC Board of Directors, I will continue in the position of Chairman / CEO of OMC Hairworld Inc. to support Gianni in his position as OMC World President,” explained Salvatore Fodera.
