Estetica Magazine is covering live from the Intercoiffure 2015 Spring Atelier in Boca Raton and we are pleased to be one of the first to share that industry icon Van Council has been announced New Fashion Director for Intercoiffure America/Canada!
Frank Gambuzza, for the first time on the Spring Atelier stage as President of Intercoiffure America/Canada (ICA), just made the exciting announcement this afternoon in front of an enthusiastic audience made of ICA members from across the nation. Van Council, owner of the Van Michael Concept Salons in Atlanta, is one of the most successful hairstylists in the country, boasting a celeb client list that’s bigger than many of its LA and NY counterparts. Van had won such prestigious awards as North American Hairstylist of the Year, Avant Garde Stylist of the Year, Makeover Stylist of the Year, as well as becoming a member of the Aveda Global Masters Team.
“This is a very prestigious organization that’s been around for many years, so I’m just honored and humbled that Frank asked me to take this role of leadership at Intercoiffure America/Canada – I’m looking forward to become part of this amazing team!” said Van Council.
As a recap of some of the exciting Sunday events, Intercoiffure 2015 Spring Atelier included “Boca Bling” presentation by the Nouveau Team, Perry Monge; seminars “Trim Your Liabilities; Employee Social Media & Phone Use” and “Succeed & Understand the Industry’s Evolving Workforce”, and amazing presentations “Millennial Brides” by Sam Brocato with Faatemah Ampey & Danielle Keasling, and “Cut.Color.Connect” featuring acclaimed artists Sonya Dove, ICA Haircolor Director, Belinda Gambuzza, ICA Haircolor Education Director, & Amy Michleb, ICA Cutting Council Director. Tomorrow guests should expect “Rock Star Systems” presented by Reg Laws and Team, “Hands-On Color” by Sonya Dove & Belinda Gambuzza, “Hands-On Cutting” by Amy Michleb, and an interesting “Best Practices Panel” featuring several Intercoiffure America/Canada ‘A’ Members.
