Sam Villa® introduces their first class with the very talented line up of Sam Villa, Founding Partner of Sam Villa, Education Artistic Director for Redken 5th Avenue, and Stylist Choice Award Winner for Favorite Platform Artist and Educator (2012, 2011 and 2007); Andrew Carruthers, Director of Education for Sam Villa and David Boyd, Sam Villa ArTeam.

MORNING DEMO
Time: 9am – 12pm

“It’s a different world being a hairdresser now, it’s time to change the way we think, say and do. With nonchalance being the new luxury, clients are looking for more value in a service, value is knowledge and that comes from good education,” says Villa.
Attendees can expect to learn raw, simple, undone looks – cutting hair to break up uniformity and heaviness. Super straight flat-ironed ends have gone by the wayside in favor of intentionally disrupted shapes with choppier edges that are “vandalized” for all the right reasons. Layers are well placed by turning the undercut and underlayers upside down, as detachment is now living on the surface giving hair that hint of volume and freshness. Cuts will have multiple identities and finishes will have refined organic texture.
