Our celebrity look of the week is True Blood Actress, Anna Paquin, who has ditched her famous blonde tresses for bright purple and blue ‘mermaid hair’!
Now, Anna has become the latest celebrity to join the purple-hued trend. She’s joining other celebs like Nicole Richie, Kelly Osbourne, Ke$ha, and Demi Lovato.
Anna posted a selfie on Twitter revealing her new purple and blue tresses. The 31-year-old actress who has been playing Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood since 2008, captioned the photo saying “just fulfilled my teen dream of being a mermaid”. Now that True Blood is a wrap, she’s no longer obligated to remain blonde like her character she played. Her color was done by Aura Friedman, who works at Sally Hershberger Downtown in NYC.
