Three Days Full of Hair and Beauty!

The Hair and Beauty fair in Frankfurt has closed its doors. Three days full of hair fashion trends, beauty, inspiration, and services.

Almost 60 thousand visitors (from 68 countries) took part in Hair and Beauty and the shows by some of the best international stylists. Contemporaneously, more than 1,300 professionals, representing 50 nations, faced off at the OMC Hairworld World Hairdressing Championships, which were held at the fair in Frankfurt.

“Together with more than 400 companies exhibiting as well as brands from the trichological cosmetics and German professional hair product firms, we succeeded in creating a fair-event that has no equals in the world of international fashion and hairdressing,” said Detlef Braun, Executive Director of Messe Frankfurt. “Where the sector flaunted all the creativity and glamour it has, as well as talented professionals, always forward-thinking. Even Zentralverband des Deutschen Friseurhandwerks (ZV) were satisfied; after 14 years they succeeded in bring back the world hairdressing championship to Germany”. Rainer Röhr, Executive Director of ZV, observed: “This edition in Frankfurt – for the quality of the fair, the presentations of the exhibitors, the technical features, organisation of the exhibition spaces, and even for the world championships, has surpassed all previous editions. Over recent years, we have never seen such an enthusiastic crowd.”
