The Grunge Collection by Heffy Wheeler at HX Hair takes its inspiration from Heffy’s youth, rebelliousness and the alternative youth scene that impacted on hair fashion at the time.
” I remember back in 2006, when I would be in my bedroom with my friends at 15 years old DIY colouring our hair,” recalls Heffy Wheeler. “Gloomy, angst-fuelled and unapologetic, my Grunge Collection captures the essence of this important and defining stage of my life. It is a reflection of the vibe of the people I would see in the queue for the local rock show. “That is all so relevant now when fashion continues to take and rework elements from this timeframe.” Heffy is the owner of HX Hair, a multi award-winning salon in Rugeley.
