The Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2024 UK & Ireland Final took place in London last night. It was a stage extravaganza that celebrated some the top talent and finest hairdressing skills in British and Irish hairdressing.

On 7th October 2024, Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2024 UK & Ireland Final took place at Old Billingsgate, London in a glamourous, glitzy spectacle where 600 guests united to celebrate the winners and runners up. The theme of the night was ‘self-expression’ which tied in perfectly with the extraordinary level of top talent and creativity displayed by all the participants. The event began with a drinks reception and an opportunity for guests to mingle and enjoy the stunning venue on the banks of London’s iconic River Thames. An exquisite sit-down gala dinner followed, with a ‘back to nature’ themed menu oozing with theatrical artistry.
“Tonight, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of TrendVision in the UK,” said Wella Company General Manager UK & Ireland, Max Amen as he took to the stage. “We have celebrated more than 200 winners and each time it becomes a life changing event in their career. TrendVision is not just about the finalists and the stylists, it’s also about the businesses that invest in education to train and elevate their teams. You are inspiring people to join this industry, and I want to thank you very much for all the support and motivation that you bring, and for elevating hairdressing to such a premium level.”
6 Astonishing Shows



The event also included 6 astonishing hair shows on-stage, which began with Wella’s UK & Ireland Colour & Trend Ambassador, Jordanna Cobella, took to the stage and presented Renaissance – an interpretation of period hair, fashion and photography, celebrating the palette of the golden hour glow. The masters at Sassoon then amazed the a captivated audience with their Beyond Boundaries show. A fusion of timeless elegance meets bold innovation culminated in an immersive runway event with stunning hair creations inspired by three powerful hues: red, black, and white, drawing on themes from Paris and Berlin’s 1920s style. TONI&GUY presented Hair at TONI&GUY, a show that didn’t disappoint. Inspired by the brand’s iconic journey and previous collections, with looks that pushed the limits of hair on the runway. Bright, colourful and a beautiful fusion of artistry and innovation.



Next on stage was STIL Salon with Scandi Style Storytellers. In this spectacular show, Scandinavian minimalism met bold, creative expression through hair and fashion. James Earnshaw was up next, with a creative masterpiece entitled, Alien Allure: A Futuristic Hair Odyssey. This took the audience into a world where bold creativity meets innovative fashion. The final show was by HOB Academy, who presented Infinity. This brought together bold, innovative styling with futuristic fashion, pushing the boundaries of traditional beauty and showcasing an infinite range of possibilities.

The main event of course was the winners announcements. Finalists paraded their models to showcase their incredible work, before the much anticipated announcements were made:

TrendVision Award winners received an outstanding package of prizes. This included a tailored education development plan for the winner and their salon, a professional photoshoot and digital content creation session, PR profiling opportunities and much more.
