The Francesco Hair Salon journey began in Italy, where founder Francesco (or Frank, as he’s affectionately known) discovered his passion for fashion and hairdressing at the age of 15, inspired by none other than the legendary Vidal Sassoon. Fast forward to 1968, and Frank’s dream materialised into his first salon bringing his brother Pete along for the ride.
Now with 37 salons across the UK, the Group’s commitment to beautiful hair continues to shine. The Lilliput salon is not just an addition; it’s a testament to the Group’s unwavering dedication to providing top-notch customer service, unforgettable experiences, and, of course, those killer hairdos that leave a lasting impression.

Francesco Hair Salon isn’t just about creating beautiful hair; it’s about nurturing the next generation of hair professionals. With around 250 apprentices across its academies, the Group plays a pivotal role in training aspiring young hairdressers. The Poole Academy alone, situated in the South West, serves as a hub for future professionals seeking to complete their Hair Professional qualifications, contributing to the influx of quality employees in approximately 70 salons throughout Dorset and Hampshire.
