International Salon Business Expert, Liz McKeon, has recently hosted a new, insightful, high-level programme for Salon Owners – Time To Get Real About Retail. The new programme provides valuable insights to business owners on how to best leverage the opportunities that retail sales present in order to attract and retain exceptional star team members.

Retail is one of the many challenges that business owners face. Liz McKeon’s personal experience has led to her achieving a 70% retail turnover in her own business. So, she decided this could be an integral programme for those looking to build and maximise their retail business. She therefore developed the Time To Get Real About Retail programme.
The programme is also suitable for brands who are looking to help stockists increase their retail sales and for salon owners who are struggling with retaining top talent in the salon. The programme will help salon owners identify how they can structure their retail department and attract, retain and increase loyalty to their business. This, in turn, will increase client retention and profit per salon visit.
Throughout the programme Liz will lecture on several topics, including:
- The opportunities that retail brings and get real about the numbers
- How to make the numbers happen
- How to break down the barriers to retailing
- Managing your retail revenue
- Commission, bonuses and how to use retail to retain your team
Two weeks after the programme, Liz will provide salon owners and managers with an online Zoom session. This will assess how everything they have put into practice is working.
Commenting on the launch of the new programme, Liz McKeon said: “This is an exciting opportunity for salon owners brands and stockists who are looking to build their retail business and sell unlimited retail, whilst holding on to their best staff and retaining their clients. Just this week, I held a soft-launch event for this programme. It was a fantastic success. We had exceptional feedback on how the workshop is a necessity to help constantly grow and improve retail business.”
