Hairdressers At Heart and Wella Education are joining forces to support fellow Educator Tarra Kruper’s fundraiser to benefit Australian wildfire relief efforts.
Proceeds from the “Love to the Wild” event planned for Sunday, March 1 at the RA Loft will benefit Wildlife Victoria, an Australian nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting and protecting wildlife through rescue, education and advocacy.
“It’s so important for us to empower and support our educators to give back,” said Hairdressers at Heart spokesperson Jessica Guastella. “As an industry, we have the capability to incite large scale change in our individual communities, and the world as a whole.”
The fundraiser includes a Styling Master Class hosted by Kruper and Celebrity Stylist Shaylin Jones from 10am – 1pm, followed by an exclusive Social Hour and Silent Auction from 1pm – 3pm. All proceeds from the event, including a $1,000 donation from Hairdressers At Heart, will benefit the organization.
“I’ve always been passionate about helping people and animals. When the wildfires broke out, I knew I had to act fast and help,” said Kruper. “These events call on the hairdresser community to support local and global charities while benefiting their careers with top education.”
Hairdressers of all levels are encouraged to attend the hands-on Styling Master Class, which will focus on building your portfolio and creating red carpet ready styles.

In addition to financial contributions, Wella Professionals is donating $750 of product to the Silent Auction, and RA Loft is donating the venue for the event.
