“Ciara’s stage show is my time to play with texture and length. For her recent Essence Fest, we went lighter. I added some bright balayaged blonde highlights. I also added a little length for some stage drama and sexiness!” said MIZANI Global Artistic Director Cesar Ramirez.
1. To start Cesar applied a small amount of MIZANI Iron Curl throughout all her mid shaft and ends. This protects the hair from heat, adds shine and helps define the texture.
2. Using his ONE TOOL flatiron, Cesar took small sections and created a wave to resemble a beachy texture.
*Tip: Remember to wave every piece in a different direction to get a very natural finish.
Right before Ciara hit the stage, Cesar sprayed every section with MIZANI HRM to hold shape and resist humidity throughout the show.
