The 5th meeting of the most prestigious and exclusive hairdesign event of the sector, Hairist brought quality, professionalism, art and passion for hairdressing together with Turkish Hairdressers at the Mustafa Kemal Cultural Center (Istanbul) with the contribution of more than 1,200 national and foreign visitors.
This year, the event presented unforgettable moments and inspired the audience just like the past years and the distinguished jury members in the competition held within the event organization evaluated the hair designs in different categories like Cut&Colour and Styling-Bun and selected the Turkish Hairdressers of the Year 2015.
The competition was held free via internet and in the Styling-Bun category the winner was:
GÜLSEDA KENAR, first runner-up
MERVE ÇAKIR, the second runner-up
ALİ OSMAN MENTEŞOĞLU
In the Cut-Colour category the winner was:
SERAP AYKUT, first runner-up
GÜRKAN DUMAN, the second runner-up
SERAP AYKUT.
The distinguished brands of the sector like Aveda, Davines, Eczacıbaşı Schwarzkopf, Farouk Systems, Goldwell, Hairton, Kyana Professional Hair Product, L’Oréal Professionnel, Matrix, Sebastian Professional, Wella Professional, Altıpatlar Architecture, Bodyography Professional Cosmetics, Demir Corporate, Filiz Steel, Carrier Education Foundation, Matteck Matsuzaki, Nmp, Pivot Point, Sanpak Corporate Support and Ventoso Professional Hair Dryers, gathered with the participants.
Hairdresser of the Year finalists received their awards with pride and happiness accompanied with great applause. The opening show was carried out by Mehmet Başata and Murat Ayber from Red&White, Ankara who fascinated everyone with their hair designs; the part final was carried out by Teo Hairdesign team.
The second part of the event started with Fashion&Trend/Next Look presentations which take place this year at Hairist for the first time. Primarily, fashion editor Mert Yemenicioğlu shared the coming season’s fashion trends with the audience. Presented under the Next Look title, Intel Turkey General Manager Burak Aydın’s “Wearable Technology” presentation changed the technological perspective of the audience.
The show in the second part was carried out by Bertram K., “The Genious Name of Makas”. For Bertram K. the hair was as if it was his painting canvas and the scissors were like his special painting brush. The hairstyles that came out mesmerized everyone.
Estetica Magazine’s Honour of the Year Award was presented to Hairdresser-Writer Ahmet Erkan who has never lost his passion for his profession for 62 years and is still working to improve the hairdressing profession.
In the Final show, the stage turned into a visual feast with the sector’s master name Kemal Baykar.
The sixth meeting of Hairist will be held on April, 11th 2016 and the theme will be “STARS”…
