Everyone from Kylie Jenner to Rita Ora are indulging in the bright-haired trend, making it a bold staple that’s here to stay. Getting vibrant hues and even pastels can be difficult with even the most color-rich dyes. Now stylists can turn to ProRituals’ new Hair Brighteners to add bright, intense color results to their current hair color formulations.
The brighteners are designed to be used with any ProRituals Professional hair color cream and developer or they can be applied directly to pre-lightened hair by mixing with ProRituals Hydrate conditioner to create intense fashion colors or pastels. These brilliant oxidative permanent pigments come in three colors; bright red, bright violet, and bright orange. Hair Brighteners are pure colors, without a base level, and can be intermixed together and with other ProRituals colors for a variety of color options.
These versatile brighteners can be used one of four ways:
- – Color Brightener Additive: Mix the brightener shade to ProRituals color cream shade to enhance the vibrancy and intensity of the color. Increasing the amount of brightener will create more intense results.
- – Bright and Bold: Mix equal parts brightener shade to ProRituals cream developer to create intense highlights, bright ombre or vivid sections of the hair. To create extreme bright colors on darker levels of hair, apply color to pre-lightened hair using ProRituals Bluelight Lightening Powder.
- – Bright Refresh: Mix one ounce brightener with ProRituals Hydrate Conditioner and apply the direct color. The lighter the hair, the brighter the results.
– Pastels: Add a dime size amount of brightener to two ounces of ProRituals Hydrate Conditioner for a lighter, more discrete shade.
The new ProRituals Hair Brighteners will be available starting December 2014 for the salon cost of $7.50. More information available at prorituals.com
