This past weekend, the OMC global hair and beauty community gathered in the vibrant city of Milan for the highly anticipated OMC Global Symposium 2025.
Hosted at the elegant Meliá Hotel Milano on March 23 and 24, the OMC Global Symposium 2025 exceeded expectations, drawing professionals from across five continents for two days of education, inspiration, and connection. Organized by the Organisation Mondiale Coiffure (OMC)—the largest global organization for beauty professionals—the Global Symposium once again reaffirmed its position as a benchmark event in the industry. From trainers and jurors to competitors and educators, every attendee had the unique opportunity to sharpen their skills, expand their knowledge, and prepare for the ultimate challenge: the OMC World Cup 2025 in Paris.

The OMC Global Symposium delivered world-class education through intensive jury seminars and masterclasses focused on Hair, Aesthetics, and Nails. Industry-leading educators shared their expertise in both individual and combination test categories, offering invaluable insights into the latest techniques, trends, and innovations that will define the upcoming global competition season.


The distinguished team of OMC educators featured some of the most respected names in the industry. Among them were Salvatore Mazzotta, Yulia Matviichuk, Tatiana Shuvalova, Alessandro Iannacone, Irina Baranova, Daniela Sperotto, Raphael Perrier, Ki Hyoung Kwon, Enzo Di Giorgio, Pierfilippo Francia, Iwona Ostrowska, Fabio Russo, Andrzej Matracki, Adiya Bayarmagnai, Aniello Fidato, Maxime Redon, Victoria Kysil, Elina Batulzii, Liudmyla Krotova, Inna Yevtikhova and Luigi Fontanella. Their presentations covered a wide spectrum of creative and technical areas, including progressive cuts, prestige gala styles, creative hair color, bridal looks, fades, and avant-garde creations, as well as makeup artistry and nail design.
Throughout the weekend, attendees were treated to impressive live demonstrations and video sessions showcasing techniques such as the Hollywood Glamour Look, hairpiece creation, classic and commercial fade cuts, smokey eyes makeup… The educational program was designed not only to inspire but to raise the bar for technical excellence across all disciplines.



Preparing for the World Stage
A pivotal part of the event was the official Jury Seminar, where certified jurors from OMC member countries undertook specialized training and exams. Those who completed the program successfully received the prestigious OMC Jury Certification Diploma, securing priority selection to judge at the OMC World Cup 2025 in Paris. Jurors also engaged in hands-on evaluation during live judging sessions, further refining their skills in preparation for the world’s most prestigious hair and beauty competition.
Networking and Global Recognition
Beyond the educational sessions, the Symposium fostered meaningful networking opportunities, enabling professionals from around the globe to connect, share ideas, and build lasting relationships. One of the most anticipated moments of the weekend was the Global Cocktail Award Night, held in the elegant Sala Velasca of the Meliá Hotel.
