The creative genius of hairdressing, Alexis Ferrer, once again astonishes the world with his new and inspiring collection ’13 18 40 97 15 07.’
’13 18 40 97 15 07′ is a marvelous hair art collection that solidifies Alexis Ferrer’s legacy as a pioneer in the technique of hair printing. This revolutionary concept arises from the fusion of textile fashion and hairdressing, with the ambition of turning hair into an artistic canvas capable of telling stories and conveying its own identity. “Many designers use prints in their garments, and I found it fascinating to take a step forward and bring prints to hair as well,” explains Ferrer. The collection embraces an immersive effect that harmonizes hair texture with textile patterns, achieving a total look where hair not only enhances but takes center stage as a fashion statement in itself.

The photographic hair printing technique devised by Ferrer, unique in its kind, has become his signature and continues to evolve since his first experiments over a decade ago. This innovation was recognized at the magnificent exhibition “Des cheveux et des poils” at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris in 2023. This time, Ferrer opts for more desaturated prints compared to those used in garments, so that the hair complements fashion in a more subtle and elegant way. “It’s almost like ‘hair makeup,’” Ferrer explains. “It’s not meant to last long, but rather to be something ephemeral and, from my perspective, more elegant and refined.”
The name ’13 18 40 97 15 07′ refers to the numbers of the photographs taken during the session, evoking the idea of extreme personalization: each work is unique and tailored to the individuality of each person. “My goal is to take hair fashion towards something more conceptual and experimental, but without ever losing sight of beauty and the transformative power of personal enhancement,” Ferrer emphasizes.

The collection also reflects his admiration for icons such as John Galliano and Alessandro Michele, who have challenged conventions to push fashion toward more artistic and emotional territories. Inspired by these great designers, Ferrer continues to break boundaries with an approach that elevates hairdressing to the level of contemporary art.
Following the success of collections such as “La Favorite“ and “Sublime“, Ferrer once again demonstrates his ability to transform the hairdressing industry with a visual language that unites beauty, fashion, and artistic expression into a unique and captivating experience.
