For the ESPY awards, Serena Williams called on Angela Meadows and Wella Professionals for the ultimate red carpet glam!
Serena Williams hosted the ESPY awards show – only the fourth woman to ever do so! Williams has won 12 ESPYs over the years for her remarkable athletic abilities. This time her her GLAM GAME was right on point!
Williams turned this event into a family affair, hitting the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with her husband, tech entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian, and the couple’s eldest daughter, Olympia. Serena looked absolutely glamorous in a strapless black Giorgio Armani gown. The bedazzled peek-a-boo bra underneath matched the trim of her dress’s train.
As for glam, Williams was a blonde bombshell with Old Hollywood waves with a side part and a sultry smoky eye. As always, Angela Meadows – her go-to hairdresser – and Wella Professionals were on hand to perfect her red-carpet look.
“I wanted to give her an old Hollywood glam inspired look to set the stage for this momentous night. The chic, classic bombshell waves built up hype for the incredible looks we planned for the rest of the awards ceremony,” said Serena’s longtime hairstylist Angela Meadows.
