It was 20 years ago that Alternative Hair Show President Anthony Mascolo founded the International Visionary Award. It’s an annual global hair competition that has continued to grow from strength to strength.
After an incredible 20 years, the popularity of The International Visionary Award has remained as high as ever. It has a strong reputation for enabling hairdressers worldwide to gain international recognition for their creative talent and vision. The Award creates a platform where new emerging talent could share their creative ideas. Anthony says the International Visionary Award is about “being perceived as the extraordinary, and an inner desire to go beyond the boundaries of normality. Daring to express your visions, allowing your inner ambitions and the vulnerability of exposure.”
This year the successful finalists selected in each category will receive an invitation to appear in the International Visionary Award presentation live at the Alternative Hair Show on Sunday 13th October 2024 at the Roundhouse, CamdenTown in London.
The Categories
Entrants should try and submit as many photos as possible. This will increase their chances of appearing at the 42nd Alternative Hair Show as a finalist.
