CATWALK by TIGI, led by Thomas Osborn, created a “Frozen Goddess” look backstage for Jonathan Simkhai’s Fall/Winter 2016 outstanding collection. Simkhai’s girl is polished but not prim, a gypsy Goddess forging through the Arctic. Learn how to recreate the style!
“This look was inspired by the idea of a natural, windswept feel. We wanted to keep the front of the hair soft with some “frozen” pieces and have a Nordic knot down the back. The look is strong, yet not fussy,” says Thomas Osborn, TIGI US Creative Director & VP of Education.
GET THE LOOK:
• Prep dry hair with CATWALK by TIGI Bodifying Spray and blow dry with fingers in a backwards and upwards motion.
• Next, using a flat iron, pull small sections of hair backwards at the crown for a “frozen” illusion.
• Then, rake hair backwards and create a knot at the nape of the neck, secure with an elastic. Create a second knot and secure with a clear elastic.
• Finish with CATWALK by TIGI Work It Hairspray and Camera Ready Shine Spray.
