The new Lines of Vision collection by Bona Joerg translates architectural principles into sculptural, graphic hair design.

With her latest hair collection, Lines of Vision, German hairstylist and blonde specialist Bona Joerg presents a sculptural, architectural series. She was inspired by two of Zaha Hadid’s most iconic buildings: the flowing curves of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, and the bold, structured lines defining the Guangzhou Opera House in China. Long fascinated by Hadid’s ability to transform architecture into emotion, merging radical form with minimalist strength, Bona translates these precise principles into the language of hair design.

Inspired by Iconic Architecture
The collection takes its direct influence from Zaha Hadid’s contrasting masterpieces. The soft, organic movement found in the Heydar Aliyev Center inspires the fluid softness seen in some of the hair. The collection thrives on these contrasts: fluid softness versus graphic tension, and expansion versus compression.

The Art of Sculptural Contrast
Each creation within the Lines of Vision series is a visual composition. The designs are intentionally shaped by light, contour, balance, and rhythm. Bona’s aim was to demonstrate that simplicity and precision can hold as much visual power as complexity. Even when working with wigs and hairpieces, her focus remained on the integrity of the material itself, sculpting hair by hand without ever masking it.

Minimalism Meets Momentum
The ultimate aesthetic of the collection is where minimalism meets momentum. It serves as a comprehensive study of contrast, intention, and the art of silence. This strong, controlled approach results in a series of looks that are visually powerful and highly editorial. The work confirms Bona’s position as a stylist who seeks to fuse high-level conceptual art with technical precision.
