The bold, mesmerising packaging is based on the Mystic Knot. A craft dating back 1,000 years, it is the favoured ornament for families celebrating the Lunar New Year. Tied from a single thread — much like a snake — the knot is a symbol of never-ending luck, prosperity and abundance. Chun evokes the knot through vibrant swirls of traditional auspicious patterns and motifs. These range from lush peonies and chrysanthemums to slinky snakeskin. The vivid tones include shades of red, said to symbolise happiness, beauty, vitality, good fortune and success.
