Anne Veck‘s new collection, Sisters of Shalati, takes its inspiration from a visit to South Africa, where Anne learned about the warrior queen or Hosikati of the Tsonga tribe: Queen Shalati. According to tradition, she was no ordinary woman. When her clan was under threat, she was the first to grab her war axe and organise the defence of her people.
The models and their looks embody female strength and determination, expressed through a diverse range of structured hairstyles which include braids, pigtails, ponytails, hairpieces and wigs.
