The Wella Company has taken a further step in cementing its positioning as a responsible, forward thinking employer that champions female leadership in the workplace.
This comes as The Wella Company shares the news that Max Amen, Wella UK&I Managing Director, has been nominated by the House of Rose Professional to be part of the Global Advisory Council Mission 2029 and as a 2024 Break the ceiling touch the sky® Male Champion for Gender Equality.

The House of Rose Professional MISSION 2029 has formed a group of exclusive group of Global Executives who are gender diversity champions, to which Max will be part of.
This exclusive global advisory council will help enable the strategy and actions to meet the MISSION 2029 goals of quintupling the number of female CEOs in the Top 500 Global Companies (from 14 in 2020 to 70 in 2029), and also doubling the number of Male CEOs who actively support and lead on diversity & inclusion within their organisations.
With a female CEO, Annie Young-Scrivner, at the helm of the Wella Company, and a strong female leadership team, Wella UK&I is on a mission to lead the way in gender diversity. It is on a journey to close the gender pay gap and recognise the tools needed to keep great female talent thriving in the workforce. Alongside fertility, menopause and pregnancy loss policies, the company collaborates with organisations such as Hertility Health and Work Baby Life, which have now given Wella a ‘reproductively responsible employer’ accreditation.
