Genesis by the Gandini Team

A tribute collection celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Gandini Team. Genesis means birth and renewal – a ritual that each of us makes every day through beauty and makes you look forward to finding out the future in advance.

Gigi Gandini, together with Renee and John and the Gandini Team experienced his ‘genesis’ in 1976, before going to experience some outstanding career highlights such as winning the World Championships in New York and then again ten years later in Verona.

The Gandini Team’s AW17 collection Winter 2016/2017 revisits the theme of renewal in a collection which focuses on 4 key elements:

Genesis Colour
The colour solutions in the collection revolve around the concept of glossy contrasts that encapsulate natural elegance. Strong on-trend shades make for an enchanting mix.

Genesis Cut & Style
Lightness, softness and femininity with dynamic movement and natural versatility. Cutting techniques are varied to obtain different styling effects.

Genesis Updo
Accurate, simple yet totally original quick-change of results are the main protagonist. Feminine and with a fresh naturalness that will always enhance and flatter the facial features.

Genesis Man
The hair is longer with much less emphasis on beards. There are some traditionally feminine lines, which in no way detract from the masculinity of the features.
