Zaha Hadid was a woman before her time. She was an exceptionally talented architect who broke down preconceptions and conquered territories traditionally reserved for men.
She was one of the most emblematic architects in the world and the first woman to win the most prestigious award in architecture: the Pritzer Prize, considered the Nobel Prize for architecture.
This amazing artist has become a legend of outlandish shapes, which is why Felicitas Ordás –who presented this collection in the 34th edition of the Alternative Hair Show 2016– brought the amazing work of the architect to life through hair art at the Royal Albert Hall in London. FELICITAS HAIR team prepared to perfection this outstanding avant-garde hairstyle proposal. The stylist and her team fascinated an audience of around 5,000 attendees.
Zaha won many contests, but not all her works were accepted, as they were very futuristic and expensive to carry out. Organic forms and white color were her hallmark, and her inspiration was closely linked to nature, what reflected in many of her works. She was a great designer of jewelry, furniture, bags, yachts and even the clothes she wore, see the images below to see the inspiration behind the collection!
