Shade Collection by Farouk Systems Artistic Team

Farouk Systems, Inc. presents the “Shade” Hair Trend Collection for the 2016 S/S season. The styles were created by Farouk Systems Global Artistic Director; Patrick Kalle, Creative Design Director; Maurice den Exter and Color Director; Richard Jordan as an expression of color artistry combined with an architectural approach.

Each look depicts unique color techniques using CHI Ionic Shine Shades Liquid Gel Color paired with trend setting cuts using angles and degrees. The finished looks provide a sneak preview into the creative fashion minds of the artists and their canvases.

The Color
The ammonia free CHI Ionic Shine Shades Liquid Gel Color takes the center spotlight by providing creativity with a smooth shade transition from base to ends. The results achieved are a blend of colors resulting in a natural 3-dimentional reflection of warm and cool tones along with level and harmony.  The line consists of 65 silk infused shades equipped for permanent, semi, and demi color formulations. With 59 color shades, 5 additives, and one clear, CHI Shine Shades will replenish hair while achieving maximum color results.

CHI ceramic also ensures maximum color penetration in the hair while adding endless radiance, shine, and longevity to color. The color lock complex moisturizes hair ensuring that hair color will last 30% longer. Silk and oil inevitably play a pivotal role in the coloring system since the duo revitalizes hair, retains immense moisture, and bolsters longevity.  Aloe further plays an integral part in repairing hair and adding intense moisture and shine.

The Angles
This collection is based on merging an architectural approach with fashion. It consists of a combination of various lines, angles and forms to create a graphic yet ultra-feminine spin. Together, they form their own individual movement that allows for multiple styling options.

The Styles
The Shade Collection utilized the innovation and technology of Farouk Systems CHI Shine Shades, CHI styling products and CHI tools. This professional approach to building a collection provided each artist with the necessary elements needed to paint and sculpt their works of art.
