Just before the festivities began, Jason Millar of Jays Barber Club in Belfast, plus five of his barber team dropped into Denman International Head Office in Bangor. The objective was to trim up the staff so they were looking their best for the Christmas season.
After a difficult past in the care system, Jay is now committed to working with the Active Communities Network training unemployed youth in a bid to help them get the best start in life. Denman has been supporting his charity work with custom brushes and as a thank you Jay and the team from Jays Barber Club offered to give Denman staff a spruce up before the festive season.
Maria Stafford, Sales and Communications Executive said: “There was such a buzz around the factory. Jay and his team did around 30 haircuts for our staff. It was a wonderful atmosphere and everyone felt very special. Jay does such great work in the community and it was lovely to spend time with him and his team.”
All six barbers managed time for a tour of the factory floor to see the production of the Jack Dean by Denman barber range in real time. Jay said: “It was a delight to fill up the Barber Club bus with our staff and head to Bangor on our day off. It was a great day out and we also received a very warm welcome!”
