Revlon Professional® announces today the launch of its mentoring programme, Visionaries 2024. This life-changing opportunity will see four creative stylists enjoy a year-long mentorship programme, directed by Revlon Professional Global Ambassador, multi-award-winning Mark Leeson.
“Being a member of Revlon’s Visionaries is one of the most powerful programmes for anyone looking to elevate their skill set,” explains Mark Leeson. “This could be in relation to salon, session or editorial techniques. Alongside creative skills, our previous candidates have benefited from a real boost in confidence.” The programme includes presentation skills, photographic shoots, plus PR and social networking sessions, which will help elevate each person beyond recognition.”
The scheme is open to all Revlon Professional salons. There is no upper limit on age. However, applicants must be a hairdresser and a colourist with a minimum of 4 years hairdressing experience. This must include an NVQ 2 qualification plus two years’ salon experience. Applicants must provide a before/after of a fashion forward image. This will showcase an ‘on-trend’ haircut enhanced by beautiful colour via a digital entry form.
Applications close on Friday 26th January 2024, and then a team of judges chooses 12 finalists. The final will take place at the Revlon Professional Academy in Leeds on Monday 12th February 2024 where candidates will recreate their model (colour and hairstyle) in front of a panel of industry judges. The four successful finalists will be announced the following day as the Visionaries 2024.
