Revlon Professional® is happy to share that Rio Agor-Watts takes up the new role of Group Education Manager for Revlon Professional UK & Ireland.
Rio Agor-Watts’ new role will report directly to Matt Horder with a dotted line into Philippe Brun, Education Director for Northern Europe, based in Paris. The current Revlon Professional educational team of Karen Thomas, Phil Meehan and Nicky Finnis will report into Rio.
“Rio is a key member of the Revlon Professional® team,” says Revlon Professional General Manager for UK & Ireland, Matt Horder. “She has delivered consistent success since joining the business as a Salon Account Manager in 2017. Rio combined her hairdressing experience and sales know-how to achieve great success, winning numerous sales awards. Early in 2021 Rio progressed into the role of Technical Educator for the South UK. She then continued her journey, winning Educator of the Year in her first year. She’s become a well-known face in the industry and rightly so, She has a wealth of knowledge and also a dazzling personality to match.”

A dream fit
“I’ve been working in hairdressing since the age of 15. I have followed a natural trajectory from the salon to account management and through to education,” explains Rio. “This role is perfect or me. I’m passionate about passing on and translating product knowledge to my fellow hairdressers. Texture inclusivity is one specific area that I’ll focus on. Already we’re seeing big changes in colour technology and how we use that to bridge gaps in this market. I have a hugely skilled and motivated team. Between us our goal is to take education to the next level, have fun and be creative.”
