Stylists, creatives, artists – show the world what you can do! Entries are open from October 2, 2023 thru January 25, 2024, at AmericasBeautyShow.com.
The overall theme for the 2024 ABS Global Image Awards is Maximalism, rooted in a more-is-more philosophy
that blends an eclectic mix of patterns, colors, textures, and objects. Artists should lean into big and bold decisions regarding color, pattern, texture, shape, and form. More IS more!… and that’s what will be celebrated with the 2024 ABS Global Image Awards.
The Competition
The ABS Global Image Awards draws entries from across the world. There will be talented professionals, barbers, emerging stylists, and cosmetology students. This global industry competition will celebrate the winners during an amazing party at America’s Beauty Show on the evening of Saturday, April 20th. The awards night will have live music by Too Hype Crew, inspiring guests to party to anthems of the 80’s, 90’s and early 00s, with an all live six-piece band, emcees, and dancers.
“We have fun doing what we are doing, but this form of recognition by the industry is magical,” said Brendeetta Ashley and Jaimee Harris Smith, 2023 ABS Global Image Award winners of the Team Collaboration. “We love to compete, it’s a great way to express yourself creatively, think outside the box, and have a great time.”

The ABS Global Image Awards are open to all licensed salon professionals, barbers, or the business equivalent where licensure is not required. In addition, students may compete in the student category or any of the professional categories. The entry process opens October 2, 2023 and closes January 25, 2024. The ABS Global Image Awards finalists will be announced on February 20, 2024. The ABS Global Image Awards ceremony is Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL. Each professional category will offer a single winner an impressive award from America’s Beauty Show to display with pride. In addition to each category winner, one extraordinary submission will receive The Leo Passage Gold Trophy Award in honor of the late Pivot Point International founder, and Cosmetologists Chicago member, Leo Passage.
