Last Saturday, October 14th, amidst the vibrant Shoreditch scene in London, the Noise event ignited an electrifying fusion of art, fashion, and creativity at the Rich Mix venue, captivating the world of hairdressing.
The Noise 2023 event brought together six exceptional hairdressing teams –Saco, Tom Connell, Rick Roberts, Mark van Westerop, Emmanuel Esteban and X-Presion– each showcasing their unique talent and pushing the boundaries of hairstyling. The stage came alive with innovation, and attendees were treated to a sensory feast of raw, awe-inspiring hair artistry. Kicking off the show, the always inspiring Saco international team wowed the audience with their fascinating styles. Models strutted down the runway with geometric haircuts, showcasing the team’s intricate precision and flair for bold, unconventional designs. Renowned stylist and educator Tom Connell took the spotlight next, presenting three sleek and refined hairstyles that effortlessly blended classic elegance with a modern twist. Rick Roberts brought a touch of the wild side to the event with his eccentric creations. The runway became a canvas for artful chaos, with models sporting daring hair sculptures. Dutch hair artist Mark van Westerop displayed a masterclass in hairstyling finesse: his intricate braids and masterful updos showcased a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional techniques. French master Emmanuel Esteban brought a touch of drama to the stage with his team’s dark and edgy hairstyles. Models exuded confidence as they showcased the team’s unconventional creations and innovative color technique. Last but not least, Spanish hair icons X-Presion closed the show in spectacular fashion, unveiling their mind-bending, Trompe-l’œil-inspired hair creations. The team’s avant-garde approach and mesmerizing braided creations left the audience in awe.
