Sea Waves with Braided Chignon is a classically beautiful combination of 1920s inspired waves complemented by a traditional plait curled up into a tight bun at the back.
The technique expertise for this outstanding Sea Waves with Braided Chignon look comes from Creative Director at La Biosthetique, Alexander Dinter, who uses both products and tool to achieve his creative masterpiece.

Sea Waves with Braided Chignon Step-by-Step
1 Make a side parting.

2 Lightly dampen the hair. Use Classic Conditioning Spray/Volumising Lotion (according to hair type) and style with the Styling Brush/Wrap Dry technique.

3 Separate out sections of hair along the parting, including the fringe.

4 Shape the rest of the hair using a little Thickening Cream & Weightless Conditioning Oil on the hands to create two or three sections, then bring them together into a low ponytail.

5 Plait the hair tightly, beginning at the roots, then secure with an elastic band.

6 Turn the plait back onto itself and secure with a grip.

7 Apply Formula Laque Fine to dry hair, then divide the top section of the hair into two strands wrap them around a curling iron (2.5 cm), starting from the roots.

8 Secure the hair with clips then leave it to cool.

9 Use a Styling Brush to work the hair into the desired shape.

10 Brush the wave while shaping it with the fingers and securing it with hair grips.

11 Spray the wave with Formule Laque Fine.
