Spicy Blondes – Turn up the Heat this Autumn!

Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice may all sound like a coffee order but Midlands Hairdresser of the Year, Tim Scott-Wright, says these are the perfect spicy blondes to boost your blondes this season.

“As we move into Autumn, we’re seeing the buttery summer blondes evolve into spicy blondes. In other words, something deeper and richer with a hint of warmth,” says Tim Scott-Wright. “Autumnal spices suchas nutmeg and cinnamon are the inspiration behind these deeper blondes and will be relatively low maintenance for your clients.”

Cinnamon Blonde

This peachy blonde is close to a rose gold but deeper and more vibrant with a hint of auburn for added spice.

Nutmeg Blonde

This rich, medium blonde has a hint of gold which works well with softly shadowed roots.

Pumpkin Spice Blonde

A rose gold blonde with copper, this fiery tone is perfect for fair skin and green eyes.

Tim’s Top Tip!

“Over lay toner on existing highlights to create warmth or add in low lights for more depth on very blonde clients. I love working with the Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Vibrance demi permanent colours. Try to keep the highlights close to the root for face framing potential rather than grown out balayage. I recommend clients use Schwarzkopf Professional Chroma ID at home and return tothe salon every six to eight weeks to help maintain the vibrance and shine. Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure R-TWO Rescuing Treatment is great as a home treatment to restore moisture when the hair dries out due to things like central heating.”
