The Collective team at Billi Currie Started out with inspiration for the CloSer Collection after looking at the work of the artist Loiuse Bourgeois, ‘The Woven child’. The artist looked at the modernist movement of feminism, nudity, texture & the sense of intimacy.
Then the Jean-Paul Gaultier scandalous & eccentric ‘FASHION FREAK SHOW’ came to London. The team took inspiration from the shapes & the sensuality of the show. The Final collection ‘CloSer’ shows a collection of looks that are sultry, shot close-in, playing with textures & loose moving empowering shapes.
