Arizona-based educator, hair professional and make-up artist Jalia Pettis is the Denman Stage Star USA 2023 regional winner!
The results are in and Denman’s Stage Star USA winner has just been announced. Say hello to Arizona-based educator, hair professional and make-up artist Jalia Pettis. Jalia beat entries across the USA to take the title of Denman Stage Star USA. She wins tools, opportunities, education $$$’s. But perhaps the most exciting part is a trip to London, England to compete for the global title at Salon International on Monday October 16th. Indeed, Jalia will compete against other regional finalists from France, Japan and the UK.
How she did it and what she is competing for!
To enter the Denman Stage Star USA competition, Jalia submitted a two-minute video about why she would make Denman’s perfect Stage Star. Then, as a finalist, she was invited to do a 15-minute Instagram Live presentation showcasing her skills.
Jalia said, “I am excited to present on stage at Salon International and will prepare the exact same way I did for my IG presentation. I cannot give away all the details but I will stay true to myself and keep it engaging!”.
If Jalia does takes the global title, she will receive:
- An all-expenses paid collection photoshoot with award winning photographer Des Murray in the UK.
- An all-expenses paid trip to visit Denman HQ in Northern Ireland.
- $1000 towards education.
- An all-expenses paid trip to at least one international event.
- Mentoring by Denman ambassadors and leading hairdressers.
