John Paul Mitchell Systems’ Together event recently took place in Rome. The venue was the elegant A.ROMA Hotel SPA & Resort – immersed by nature and just 15 minutes from the historic centre of the Italian capital and the Vatican City.
Dedicated to fashion trends, colour, and trendsetting cut and style, the Together event by John Paul Mitchell Systems brought together around 500 customers who attended an engaging 3-hour show. Then immediately afterwards they met the artists and models and went on to enjoy a sparkling dinner party. On Day 2, everyone was able to attend extraordinary look & learn seminars with the artistic directors for a hands-on experience.
Over the two days, the participants experienced the mission and vision of John Paul Mitchell Systems. This helped enable them to understand the brand’s core values: PEOPLE, PLANET, PRODUCTS and PROGRAMS. They were able to experience advances on fashion trends and to exchange ideas and visions at an event dedicated entirely to beauty and well-being.

Robert Cromeans – GLOBAL ARTISTIC & BUSINESS DIRECTOR
Hairstylist, salon owner, industry legend. His innovative artistry and proven strategies for success inspire hairdressers around the world. The proud owner of the famed Robert Cromeans Salons and Walk-In Salons by Robert Cromeans Robert shares his teachings of artistic innovation and infectious resourcefulness with a message of encouragement: “If I can do it, you can too.”
Severine Papin – INTERNATIONAL TRAINER
A third generation hairdresser, Severine built and developed her artistic skills through her work in her family salon. With over 13 years of salon management experience, Severine heads up a great team, and today she mentors and inspires young apprentices on their journey of professional development. Severine is part of the Paul Mitchell European Artistic team. Her enthusiasm and her contagious smile will leave their mark on all those who, like her, have a passion for hair.
Alessandro Iannaccone – INTERNATIONAL TRAINER
Alessandro began his training career while working as a stylist. He had studied with industry greats including Vidal Sassoon, Patrick Cameron and TONI&GUY. He has also worked with numerous top fashion houses such as of Roberto Cavalli, Fendi and Gucci. Alessandro today is an international trainer and a platform artist across all Paul Mitchell brands.
Mary Cromeans – INTERNATIONAL TRAINER
Star of the Paul Mitchell Artistic Team USA, Mary creates the breathtaking transformations on models at every step of the process, starting from the casting and completing the finished look on stage at the event. Mary works in the Robert Cromeans salon in San Diego (California); her specialty is a “five-star” colour treatment. Much of her strength as a trainer comes from her direct experience of using colour in the salon. Mary’s professionalism and personality make her one of the most sought-after Paul Mitchell artistic figures at international shows.
Stephen Moody – ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
A 30+ year veteran of the Sassoon organisation, Stephen has developed and managed Sassoon Academies around the world. His role included leading the Vidal Sassoon art team. There, he supported product development and organised virtual and face-to-face training courses. He also trained educators and developed seasonal collections for photo and video shoots. Stephen holds many titles and awards, including the 2021 NAHA Haircutter of the Year. He was also a finalist for the 2021 NAHA Educator of the Year. Furthermore, he will soon receive the coveted Intercoiffure Mondial Knight Award in Paris.
SPECIAL GUEST – ANGUS MITCHELL
Angus Mitchell has inherited the legacy of his father, the legendary Paul Mitchell. As the son of a fashion icon, Angus has the same passion that inspired his father. This passion has helped lead him to where he is today. Educated in the Vidal Sassoon method, Angus combines that legendary technical precision with the free artistic expression encouraged by Paul Mitchell, thus defining his stylistic signature. Angus often travels the world, attending corporate styling events but habitually resides in Los Angeles, where he has created his professional identity as an artist and educator.
