How do you move forwards and find the ingredient to appeal to both the ever-loyal Alternative Hair supporters and today’s new audience? With this in mind, for 2023 Tony is taking space at Excel, allowing a closer link with Salon International and making it easier for both UK and international visitors to attend the shows.

Two spectacular shows for 2023!
There will be more than one show: an early show at 4pm on Sunday October 15th and a later one at 7pm. There is always a theme to the Alternative Hair Show, providing inspiration to the artistic teams and setting the ambience. This year’s show goes under the banner: Tapestry, signifying a journey through time, a blending of creative ideas and artistry, demonstrated by the individual presentations coming together as one event.
The now globally popular International Visionary Award finals, returns as a live section of the show, with its current 3 awards; Cut and Colour, Avant-Garde and Men’s. The Visionary Award has proven a wonderful exposure of young and unknown talent and has thrilled audiences since its inclusion in the running order. Now its significance to the overall show cannot be denied and we are thrilled to be able to showcase the entrants once again. The 2023 Alternative Hair Show will include some new, never before seen, artistic teams, joining the strong line-up of presentations to make an exciting and inspiring event, no less special and entertaining than every previous show.
