The OMC Global Certification event held this week in Milano was a fantastic success, bringing together 350 of the best hairdressers from 30 countries.
The OMC Global Certification 2023 was a unique opportunity to network with top global talent in the hair and beauty industry and learn from the best. All OMC jurors who participated and passed the exam in Milano (Italy) will be shortlisted for consideration as judges at the OMC World Cup in September 2023 – 2024 in Paris. At this event, the OMC Hairworld’s best international educators in the Ladies, Gents, Aesthetics, and Nails sections presented the latest inspiration for the combinations and individual categories tests for the OMC World Cup 2023.
The event was presented by Salvatore Fodera, OMC Hairworld Chairman; Gianni Fodera, OMC World President; Vincent Fodera, OMC Hairworld CEO; and Carmelo Gugliotti, OMC VicePresident. In addition to receiving the 2023 Global Certification Diploma and a medal to display in their salon, all jurors and trainers present in Milan also received a souvenir cutting cape. An exciting opportunity to connect with internationals peers and enhance everyone’s skills in the industry. As Salvatore Fodera stated, “the OMC believes in recognising the accomplishments of our members. We believe the medal and certificate will serve as a symbol of excellence and should be a source of pride for each recipient. They can also serve as an inspiration to others to strive for similar levels of excellence.“
The official OMC Educators have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share and help all OMC members to improve and achieve their goals. The OMC Global Certification demonstrates a high level of competence and mastery. It establishes credibility and increases the perceived value of an individual’s skills and experience.
The event included network with global leaders, lunches and the OMC Gala Night, where the best international educators were recognised on stage in a ceremony presented by Sergi Bancells.
