The ABS Global Image Awards finalists and winners enjoyed the honor of being recognized in front of hundreds of salon professionals and leaders in the beauty industry.
The winners of the 2023 ABS Global Image Awards were announced on Saturday, April 15 during the 100th Edition of America’s Beauty Show. 2023, The evening was a whirlwind of excitement, fun and celebration. The ABS Global Image Awards finalists and winners enjoyed the honor of being recognized in front of hundreds of salon professionals and leaders in the beauty industry. The night also kicked off the 100th anniversary of America’s Beauty Show, with live music by Too Hype Crew. Attendees partied to anthems of the 80’s, 90’s and early 00s, with an all-live six-piece band, emcees, and dancers.
What are the ABS Global Image Awards
Very simply, the ABS Global Image Awards bring hairdressing talent on an international level to the forefront. These awards celebrate the passion and artistry of professional and emerging stylists in an image and video competition featuring professional and student categories.
This year’s competition skyrocketed in popularity with participants from across the globe. All the entries reflected the stylists’ fiercest creative collections. This competition is still emerging. But it is also different than many others because it allows stylists and makeup artists of all levels to participate within a community of artists. Although it is exclusive to America’s Beauty Show, the ABS Global Image Awards is the one-to-watch for years to come.

In a special recognition, Ammon Carver of Salt Lake City, UT, won the 2023 Leo Passage Gold Trophy award, in honor of the late Pivot Point founder and Cosmetologists Chicago member, Leo Passage.
