The Alternative Hair International Visionary Award is an annual artistic hair competition. It allows worldwide hairdressers to be recognised internationally for their creative talents and visions.
The successful finalists in each category at International Visionary Awards 2023 receive an invitation to appear in the International Visionary Award presentation. This takes place live at the Alternative Hair Show in London.
How to Enter
- An entry fee of £40 per photograph is applicable. This is a direct donation to Fighting Leukaemia – Alternative Hair Charitable Foundation, registered charity no. 147189.
- Entries should be a 10” x 8” or A4 (300dpi) portrait size photograph.
- Please fill in the entry form on the Alternative Hair Show website. Your name, salon name, salon address, day telephone, mobile number & email.
- Please ensure you are available to attend the Alternative Hair Show if you are a finalists in your chosen category to appear at the International Visionary presentation live.
Appearing at the Alternative Hair Show
The finalists chosen to appear at the Alternative Hair International Visionary Award live must each supply one model, clothes and styling at their own cost.
Please note the image(s) you submit as your entry, must be of the last 12 months. AHS President Anthony Mascolo and our international judging panel will select the finalists in each category based on the artistry, quality and total look. The submission of all images is anonymous. All finalists need to produce a short film of their models, shot on location or in a studio.
