The diverse Nude Collection is the result of a global project. It’s aim was to to capture a creative slice of work from the incredible brand ambassadors in Denman’s Global Collective. A ground-breaking first for Denman (and possibly any brand), this was a six-month journey. It began with a photoshoot in Manchester UK followed by shoots that spanned the globe.
Denman Marketing Manager, Frances Courtney says: “Our Global Ambassador network is packed with gifted artists that are leading lights in their own countries. As a truly international brand we wanted to find a way to allow them to express their talents and share regional hair fashion while embracing a visual narrative. We wrote a brief and invited our international Ambassadors to participate by contributing their own images under tight technical guidelines. It meant that while they had total creative freedom on the hair, the end result would harmonise into our Nude Collection – a showcase of images that represent our global brand.”
Images were contributed from Japan, Philippines, Austria, USA, Slovenia and the UK. Denman took a minimalist approach on clothes styling, creative direction and make-up. The ‘nude’ tones used in skin and clothing make the hair the focal point of each image. The Global Collective Nude Collection embraces a variety of length, natural and created texture and diversity in colour techniques and tones – a truly collective project from Denman.
