The Fellowship for British Hairdressing brought all its projects under one roof for an evening of celebration at the Fellowship Projects Finale 2022.
The Fellowship Projects Finale 2022 evening took place at WN Studios in East London. It saw the teams present the trends, techniques, skills and knowledge they have learnt from their mentors during the past 12 months.
It was also an opportunity to thank the outgoing Fellowship Projects leaders for their dedication and passion in leading their teams throughout the past few years. Big thanks to ClubStar Art Team leader Karoliina Saunders, who is handing the reins to Jamie Benny from Hare & Bone. Project X leader Sam Burnett is passing the baton to to session stylist Lisa Farrall. Paul Dennison is handing over the mantle to new Project Colour leader Daniel Couch from Russell Eaton. Simon Shaw will continue as leader of Project Men for 2023.
The teams spent the day prepping their models before a catwalk show in front of industry peers, colleagues, and hair heroes. The teams talked about the mentors who spent time with them to build their skills, confidence and abilities. THis is something for which they will be forever grateful.
For 2023 there are three new projects. These are Project Afro led by Jacqui McIntosh, Project Sassoon with Damien Peers and Project Extend. This will see Vice Chair Michelle Griffin taking the lead.
