Matrix Ambassador Christian Wiles has won an international award with his latest stunning men’s hair collection.
Christian Wiles, who has an eponymous salon in Northampton, was a finalist in the International Modern Barber of the Year at the Australian Modern Barber Awards 2022.
Judged by peers on the other side of the world, the competition recognises the best barbers in the Australian industry. It also showcases the talent and excellence from all across the world. Not only did Christian enter his images, he also had to submit an entry detailing his technical skills and creative ability.
A glittering awards ceremony took place in Melbourne. There, Christian discovered that he was the winner for his stunning collection. It combines traditional barbering techniques with fashion-forward styling.
Christian is also a finalist for Eastern Hairdresser of the Year at this year’s British Hairdressing Awards. He said: “I’m so happy about winning the International Modern Barber of the Year award. Men’s hair is a real passion for me. For my work to be recognised by a panel of judges some 10,000 miles away is a great achievement. I’m delighted to be flying the flag for the British hair and barbering industry.”
