A day of education and thought-provoking inspiration lay ahead for members of the ClubStar Art Team and Project Colour with Simon Shaw from Simon Shaw Education.
Simon Shaw, who has decades of experience in the industry as a talent coach, spent a day of education imparting knowledge and encouraging the members to step outside their comfort zones.
Both Fellowship teams were asked to prepare a mood board and from this, they were asked to create a look on a model head and present their mood board and their look for a minimum of three minutes. They were also asked to bring along an item that inspired them (and to talk about that item for at least a minute. Finally, they needed to present their favourite poem, passage or song lyric, so Simon could give them hints and tips on how to present with the right tone and pace.
Project Colour member April Mash commented: “The day with Simon Shaw Education was one of my favourite of the year. I learnt so much and it was so nice to see everyone progress throughout the day.”
Follow Project Colour member Katie McLaughlin added: “Thank you so much for this team day. I can’t stop thinking about it.”
ClubStar Art Team member Victoria Hughes said: “This was another brilliant day was with Simon Shaw Education. It was all about presenting and I left so inspired.”
